So many of us have been conditioned to look for external validation of our worthiness and wellbeing. The number on the scale, the amount of money we have in the bank, how many hours of sleep we get each night . . . In this episode, I explore my own complicated relationship with the step-tracking app on my phone, and how it reminds me of the downside of outsourcing my wellbeing to an external measurement. We’ll also look at the challenge of dropping external markers as determinants of our worth and wellbeing, and how to open the divine invitation to deeply and completely love and value ourselves just as we are in the present moment.
